Default I need Help

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.9L engine auto w/ overdrive and my transmission is giving me problems. I have enough fluied in it but it jerks with it shifts into second and it shifts fine 3rd and 4th. At first I thought it could be a shift solenoid so I changed that plus I've changed the fluid. I've had a transmission tech look at it and they couldn't pen point the problem. The truck does have high miles on it, 127,000.

Does anyone know if I could put in a heavy duty transmission in it? Does anyone know other Transmission sites I could look at?

auto trannys are just not holding up much over 100k. I have a friend with a ford and a friend with a chevy that just got their trannys replaced, both between 110k and 120k. I think they both were around 1100. This comes close to matching the symptoms the Chevy guy had and then it just went into limp mode one day
