Default question about front shocks??

i know that the front shocks have that little bushing/bracket thing in the loop that bolts the bottom of the shock to the lower control arm... i have a set of shocks laying in the garage (that have a normal loop and bushing) and i was wondering if i could swap that bushing/bracket to the new ones in order to use these new shocks and not buy oem replacments. can it be done?

Maybe, if you can get them out without ruining the rubber.

Ok, I found the part online. It's called a bar pin. Got a set for a little less than 10 bucks shipped. This way I can just slip them in the new shocks and just toss the old ones

best way to do it, you can get the old ones out ok it is putting them in the new shocks where you run into tearing the bushings.. been there tried that..
