It has died on me a few times when slowing down for a red light or stop, and will fire rite back up everytime. when slowing down (off the throttle) if it surges the rpms will drop too below 500rpm on the tach, some times it will recover its self or i can blip the throttle and save it or it will die.

Truck runs fine on interstate or any speeds above 55mph, still runs strong at WOT.

There are no codes or CEL
had same thing with my 97, 360cid. Found out due to rusted out exhaust my 02 censors were not working properly.. Trucks computer was constantly trying to adjust with bad or nonexistent readings.
