I am guilty, thanks again.

Ok head is sitting there looking pretty with bolts hand tight. Now I need to go consult the SM for the torqing process (not just the specs). I had them on a paper from the dealership but it vanished

A hint for those dealing with the drivers side and the AC compressor being in the way. Take all three bolts out, BUT to get the left hand side bolt out your going to need to take off a plat with 4 bolts in it. Then use of a pry bar will allow the compressor to swing up and out of the way enough to get the head seated properly.

So being that I brutishly killed the quick disconnect fuel line by ripping the insides out, is there any way to patch it with normal fuel line for now? I didnt see any 3/8 spring retainers for sale at the auto parts store last time.

My exhaust pipe to manifold bolts rotted and disintegrated when I removed them. Looking at the exploded parts diagram Figure 11-110 its trying to say they are:

BOLT, Hex Head, .375-16x2.50

They were not hex heads, am I looking at the wrong diagram? It looks like it is trying to tell me their is only one bolt as well when I am sure I took two out.

Ok the expletives are done...

Intake push rod ended up down one of the oil passages...

Dont ask, standing over engine and a chance set of events placed it there and down she went. Do I pull the oil pan or go get one of those telescoping magnets?

OMG I found a 4" piece of one of those magnetic retrievers that had broken and for some reason ended up in the junk drawer and got it out. +1 to the man above
