Bent push rod should be from the bad intake valve rite? Will know more soon, hoping for no more damage.

I'm also hoping for no more damage but be sure to remove the spring assembly and try to slide the valve up and down by hand and it should move freely. Check the valve face, valve boss and guide. Also check the piston top for any marks.

I got my fingers crossed for you.

Ok strap is off, so is the bolt from the a/c bracket. The head still wont budge, I double and triple checked all bolts are out and the manifold is free and clear. I am no weakling and I pushed up on the head from under the truck and the truck rocks, still the head wont budge. What could I be missing? A crow bar?

Yeah. I would get a bar and gently products up on a corner. Post pics when you can.

Head came off with some coaxing from an adjustable pry bar.

Fair news:

the intake valve looks like it got bent, -----/ instead of ----|

After taking it out, I noticed a chip out of the valve guide. Going to need to be replaced I think.

The top of the piston has a minor ding in it, nothing to serious looking.

Going to take the head to the machine shop tomorrow and have them clean, replace, and put back together. Should be fairly cheap. Should I do all the valve seals?

Thanks so much for all the help along the way.

I would go ahead and have both heads rebuilt at the machine shop

You mean a valve job?

To replace the springs and put a new valve guide in is 75.00
Complete valve job is 160.00

Who is supplying the springs? You buying and using (16) 6.1 exh springs are letting them put back in the 5.7 spring that broke on you?
