Are all dealerships full of $hit
Ok so i got the truck to the stealership this morning, they ran the scanner and told me i do ha e a cat code but its because i have a aftermarket 02 sencor wtf!!!!!!!!!!!! They say you can only use oem 02 sencors on the hemi .. So i kindly told them tbey were full of it and brought the truck sum where else !!!!! Correct me if im wrong but dont tbe 02 have a seperate code for them ????? And cant you run after market bosh o2s ??????
Did they tell you that you have a tire code too because you can only run factory Goodyears on your truck?
That doesn't make any sense. You may indeed have an 02 sensor code, however, it is likely due to something other than the brand of the 02 sensor. For instance, wrong part number, bad 02 sensor, burning oil and fouling the 02 sensor, rat ate the wires on the 02 sensor.... you get the idea.
Google Chrysler CEL codes and you can view an entire list of engine codes and compare to the code that you have. The lists usually show what the code pertains to such as: P0308 = misfire, cylinder 8

Bosch O2s don't work in Rams, or at least on '04 & '06 Hemis, know those two for a fact...
Actually, you can add the '03 as well:

I think it's a voltage issue because I know most widebands don't work plugged in their as well...

You know, when I did my swap to 03 hemi, I used brand new Bosch O2s. I had a code for the upstream right away but figured it might be an issue with the re-wiring. Replaced it with a new NGK and blamo, no code.

Hammer and Ben D - I just bought and replaced my front two O2s with some from Autozone. The P/N was 15504 and they are $25 each. To my surprise when I opened then box they had mopar part numbers on the bad. I can take a pic if needed. I put them on last week and had had no issues.
Does anyone now the 02 sencor code im tired of going back and forth with the dealer !!!!! They keep saying its the 02s making the cat code pop up but i still think its b/s !!!!!!!!!!! They just replaced the cats and thats all the can say wtf
