My daughter's 05' Hemi RAM 1500 is having a bit of an issue. The truck runs great until the "lightning" bolt lights up on the dash, at which point the truck stops. It can be restarted immediately with no issues...Can anyone give me some input on this?

 

Sounds like the Electronic Throttle Control. Search the forum for ETC and you should be able to get some info on it.

 

There is either a throttlebody or TPS issue. You need to scan the computer for codes.

 

Have the code that is generated scanned (auto parts stores do it for free) and report back the code(s). We can get you on the right track...
