Default What is this sensor or switch???

Hey Guys,

I have a sensor or switch that broke off from somewhere when I hit a deer some time back. I can't figure out what it is or where it goes...can you help me??

That is the temp sensor for your outside temp reading inside your truck. On my 04, it is connected right by my drivers side headlight, behind the grill.

Ok, Thanks everyone...I was worried it may have been like an air bag sensor or something and was wondering why it didn't go off if that was the case...It seems to be working fine, just isn't mounted as the plastic broke...can someone post a pic of how it is supposed to be mounted so I can try to rig it back in a pretty close spot??

It's attached on the bottom bolt holding the driverside headlight in place.
Zip tie it anywhere in that location and you'll be golden.
