What's your engine idle RPM?

The rpm is about 6 or 700

600-700 is where it should be normally.

If you have someone you absolutely trust then chock the wheels and have them put it in gear while you are under it.

ha yeah I did that my wife was in there and it sounded like the clank was coming from the linkage you think the rear end needs to be greased or maybe the new u joints just needed to wear in

If there is any pressure on the gears when you move the shifter it can clunk. My 2008 will do it if I'm parked on a hill or even if I'm on semi flat ground with my trailer hooed up. It puts that presure on the gears...

Did you put the transmission in nuetral? Your calipers aren't frozen up on you are they?

na didnt put it in netural didnt think of that I will try that and It shouldnt be under any pressure thanks for all the help
