ha yeah I did that my wife was in there and it sounded like the clank was coming from the linkage you think the rear end needs to be greased or maybe the new u joints just needed to wear in
Ok Today I heard a loud clank when I put it into park I assume its the U joint I have never taken it off shouldnt be to hard what is the best way a trick thanks
If there is any pressure on the gears when you move the shifter it can clunk. My 2008 will do it if I'm parked on a hill or even if I'm on semi flat ground with my trailer hooed up. It puts that presure on the gears...

Did you put the transmission in nuetral? Your calipers aren't frozen up on you are they?
