Hello everybody,
Well i am finally going to get my 6 inch lift kit! Now i have to choose the rims. I like the XD Monsters and not many people have them in my area and i am looking to go with either 18 or 20 inch. The only thing is i want my truck to have a good stance so i want my tires to stick out past the fenders a little bit. Can anyone tell me how much either sizes of this wheel would make the tire stick out? The truck is an 08 Ram 1500 Hemi so the bolt pattern is 5 on 5.5. Pictures would be greatly appreciated! Here is a couple pics of mine with 18x9 -12mm XD Monsters. The truck is leveled and has a 3" body lift. The tires stick out a good 2 inches. The fender flares kinda hide how much they stick out, but it has a real nice stance and i get compliments everywhere i go. The tires are 35x12.50x18 Nitto Trail Grapplers.

 

Larry got you covered it seems like. They stick out about perfect IMO. I really like the monsters. They are about one of the best looking wheels right now.

Id get 18s for the sake of $$$. Ride will be better as well. Not that big of a look difference.

 

+2 on the 18's, also KMC makes a ton of good looking wheels in the XD Series....

 

Thanks everyone for the the great info and pics! I think im going to go with 18s because the wheels are cheaper and so are the Nitto Trail Grapplers which is really good!

Just make sure you get them with 4.5" backspacing and they'll stick out perfectly.

 

U should look at v tec raptor 18s. When those came out I was sold. They are a lot cheaper too.
