Default P0700 code and truck rumbling/vibrating

I have an '06 RAM QuadCab 1500 4WD with 177K miles. About a week ago, I noticed a rumbling sensation or vibrating sensation when driving at any speed. It shifts fine, but vibration/rumbling is slowly getting worse. Did pull the P0700 code, although "check engine" light has yet to come on. I don't have a trans code reader - sounds like I need to go that route next?

Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Rick

I believe the p0700 is a general transmission code, you should take your truck in and have the TCM read to see what the problem is.

That code just means that it saw a transmission issue. It may not be there any more. Sounds more like a wheel chucked a wheel weight or your u-joints are toast.
