Default 3" body lift

im wanting to do a 3" body lift on my 04 ram. anybody know how big of tires i can clear. post pics please. thanks

1500 or 2500/3500? 4x4 or 2wd? leveled, any lift at all? what size tires do you have right now?

On a 2wd, it usually is not enough to fit 35s. You need to level the front susp AND do a body lift or do a complete 6" susp lift.

But answer Matt99's questions for more accurate info and welcome to the site

That is sufficient to clear 35's although width could be an issue with the stock wheels (although there is more clearance than the '06+ coil over front 4x4s).

With the proper backspaced wheels, 35x12.5s will clear easily with a level/body combo.

You'll have about 4.5 - 5" of lift total up front. Mines with 4" of suspension lift, 35s on 4.5" backspaced wheels (although my "35 inch" Cepeks actually measure more like 34 1/4" tall):
