Default Could my DIY CAI create other issues?

Made and installed a CAI over the weekend and while driving yesterday I noticed some sounds that are new or i never noticed until now.

One noise sounds like it is coming from the A/C... like pressure building or releasing... but only occurs while accelerating.

The other is a high pitch whistle/whine at a certain point in the throttle. I can push past the whine just as I can let off under the whine.

There were two ports/plug-ins on the factory intake system which I "think" I was able to effectively epoxy onto the DIY CAI....maybe not? One port appears to be a vacuum hose to something and the other is a sensor of some sort.

I don't mind getting used to new noises due to the CAI but I sure dont want to create any major problems. Any input is appreciated.

The vacuum hose is just the crack case vent tube most people just put a breather filter on it instead of putting it back into the intake because it can have oil that will dirty up the tb the sensor is you intake air temp and needs to be in the intake did you clean the tb when you had everything off ?

The pressure building and releasing is the EGR valve. Perfectly normal and it always made that sound. You just never heard it because the "Hemi Hat" is a baffle that hides the sound.

Thanks for the input fellas. I'll take my finger off the panic button. I just replaced the EGR valve last week so it actually could be a new noise...to me.

No, I considered cleaning the TB but did not. It appears fairly easy to get at. Are there any do's/dont's'/recommendations when cleaning the TB?
