Welcome to DF. First, before anything else, please read this.

Are you removing 5" of a lift kit, or removing 5" from a stock height Ram? What are the specs of the Ram? (4x4, 4x2, engine size, tire size, trim level, options, etc. etc.)

What model year?

It kinda depends on the lift is it spindles for front and leafs for back or springs and level kit up front and blocks in back

explain your lift kit. What brand, what kind of lift, what kind of tires/rims are you buying and trying to fit. is it a boxed subframe lift? torsion tweak with body lift?

whatever lift it is, you could probably sell it for as much or more than it will cost to remove IF you have the stock parts.

Won't cost nothing if you remove it yourself. Ain't hard.

Key here is IF you have the stock components to go back on it...
