Default RAQ stereo problem

I have the in dash 6 disc changer in my 08. The radio works fine, but when I press the load button nothing happens. I have the same style changer in my Charger and when I press the load button it asks me which slot to put it in.
The battery was changed at some time in my truck but I'm not sure when.
When I set the key to acc and press load and time it doesn't tell me the ESN, although I'm not sure if that even happens without satellite.
I called Dodge and they told me to take it to a dealer, I took it there and they told me to disconnect both battery cables and hold them together for 5 or 10 seconds. I did all of the above and nothing changed. If I can't find a solution here, I'm going to have to take it back to the dealer I bought it from and have them check it out, but I'd rather not have to do that.

Sounds like a bad radio. Mine works just fine. I just changed a disc the other day.

Yep. I think you'll be wasting your time going back to a dealership who likely isn't going to replace the radio? The contact behind the button could be bad and they aren't going to tear it apart to find out. That's not what they do. They like to only replace the entire unit.

If it's still under warranty, then they will replace the radio, if not, that radio is $626 on the Mopar website.
