Default will this thermostat help

hey guys. so ive recently been having some stalling issues with my truck. 05 1500 with the hemi in it and i read that you can put a 180* thermostat in it to make it idle higher. ive cleaned the throttle body and didnt really help at all.

http://www.jegs.com/i/JET+Performanc...10183/10002/-1

this was the thermostat that i found. is there any other options or is this my best bet?

thanks guys

The theory here is that the cooler temp richens the mix a bit and the PCM will bump idle a bit because it thinks the truck is still not up to temp. Depends on why the truck is stalling, but if couldn't hurt to try one. That's the one I've been running for about five years now...

You need to find the actual problem, not band aid it. I would try cleaning the throttlebody first.

Front O2 sensors could also cause it as well as low trans fluid
