How does the dash around the radio come off on this truck?

Does it have the flip-down cup holder below the radio? If so, there's two screws in the upper part of the cup holder recess. Once those are taken out, you just pry the whole trim piece off and disconnect the wires from the controls. Should take less than 5min.

 

yes it does, no full center console as it has the 40/20/40 front seat.

I don't have any pics, but you can't miss the screws. Look up into the hole where the cup holder sits when in the "stowed" position, and they are right there.

 

go to metraonline.com put in your truck and when it bring up the parts for your truck click on the installation kit. then open product manual and it will give you step by step instructions with pictures on how to take it apart. There are assentially two screws right above the cup holder and then the trim will pop off
