Hey guys so after this past winter my truck started having a really annoying ticking sound. some times it goes away after the engine gets some heat in it, and sometimes it continues no matter how long i drive the truck for. This ticking noise combined with an idle problem I am having that causes the truck to stall when I come to a stop light makes me feel like Im driving a old clunker! My truck does have 127000 miles on it but it have taken great care of it. I really want to find the source of this Idle problem and the ticking noise. The idle problem does go away once the truck reaches the standard running temp but the ticking does not. Any suggestions? Thank you!
