Another A/C Issue
I've done a little searching and have not been able to quite pinpoint my lack of A/C.
I have a 2003 2500 5.7L with Dual Zone A/C. Several weeks back the a/c was only blowing cold from the driver side and the condenser line was freezing. Now the a/c doesn't work at all. The low side pressure appears to be zero and the condenser clutch is constantly engaged.
Any ideas????

I'm here
You have lost your freon somewhere. I have read that on these trucks, if the system gets low, it may only cool on one side.
The compressor clutch should not engage if the pressure gets below about 25 to 30psi. If it does, the system will freeze up as yours did. I think you have 2 problems.
1) EDIT: Dodge didn't put this compressor saving, low pressure switch on the 3rd gen Ram.
2) You have a refrigerant leak.
I would recharge the system and add some dye to it to find the leak.

As I PM'd, Dodge decided not to install this compressor saving low pressure switch in the system to keep the compressor from eating itself up with no refrigerant/oil in it. It does have a high pressure cutout switch in the high side of the system, just no low side protection.
