Default Blind spot mirrors

does anyone know of a chemical that will make the double sided tape of a blind spot mirror desolve without affecting the mirror behind it or the plastic of the mirror schroud. the previous owner of my truck put the little 3" round blind spot mirrors on the mirrors and when im trying to back my trailer i loose it because of these mirrors. i want to remove them without messing up the glass.

any info would help

If it's not on there too thick it will, may have to let it soak in a bit. You can also use a scraper along with the Goo Gone without hurting anything...
