Default Does 2002 models have a A/C problem?

Hey guy's i just bought a 2002 Sport 1500 Quad cab 4x4 360 with 82,000 miles last week, it's a heck of a nice truck except the Air conditioning it seems like it wants to work sometimes and not other times. I have talked to several other people with 2002 model rams and they say they have also had the same type problem. And the othe thing i noticed was i did a tranny filter change and noticed what looked like a 1" long piece of snap ring clinging to the magnet in the tranny pan, the tranny shifts alright except the truck at high speed around 55 mph with cruise set when it starts accelerating like going up a slight incline makes a cut-out feeling/ bump you can feel. overall im happy with the truck best dodge i have had yet! (and ive had too many to count!)

My 05 blows cool, not cold at idle. At crusing speeds it is ice cold.
