Default i want to fit 22x12's on an 02 ram...new guy here

hey, so i jus got a 02 ram. im not really a truck guy, but i have it, n jus like i do everything i get my hands on, i wanna turn heads wen im cruisin down the road. i wanna have fun with it, it may be my first n only truck. i love the look of 22x12 wheels on trucks. im curious tho, wat trouble am i gettin into by doin this. how am i affecting the trucks performance, how much of a lift do i have to give it, do i have to cut anything on frame to prevent rub. will it even work. if anyone cud give me some insight on this crazy idea of mine. if im goin too big...i really dont care, go big or go home is my theory. specs are, 02 dodge ram crew cab, 4x4. mileage is moderate for the year of the truck, motor is strong tho.

if you wanna turn some heads and believe in go big or go home, then you want more than 22s. i got 24s and even i want 28s or 30s. i wont buy anything less nowadays.

however, there was once when i had 22s. they were 305.45.22s and i had no lift and didnt need one.

bigger tires and rims are heavier and harder to rotate so expect a mpg decrease.

https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...dark-side.html I don't know where you are or what type wheels you are wanting but this guy just bought one with 22's and he wants something different. Maybe you two can do some trading if you aren't too far apart. You can at least see what they will look like sizewise on your ram.

ok, so another question, can someone tell me how this is going to work without a lift, i mean, is it even possible, cause this is the look im goin for, only difference is i wud like to keep a stock height, i dont really wanna go this high. i undrstand its a cummins, n they naturally sit higher than my 4.7, but i want to replicate this look.
