Default Tranny problem

Hey guys..need help..check engine light came on yesterday, and found out it is P2706..which they think is shift solenoid "F". Is this something i can replace myself? Where is it? Can I drop tranny pan and get at it, or do I need to remove tranny? Any help ( diagrams and/or pics especially) will be greatly appreciated !! I usually do my own work on my vehicles, but i have no idea what this thing is, and cant find anything out there specific enough for me to try tackling it yet !!! Oh...its a 2004 ram 1500 quad cab 4.7 L auto

Welcome aboard mikeymoe66! Stay tuned - a Technician (or member) will jump in shortly to provide a possible solution. In the meantime, don't forget to browse Sub-Forums: Ram for stuff related to your ride.
