Default 03 Hemi-C.E and rough idle fixed

Here is the deal. I had 2 seperate problems.. A couple weeks ago I replaced O2 sensors with Bosch. Check engine light never went off (for long). I also had rough idle condition. Idle issue fixed by removing throttle body and cleaning with brake cleaner. I previously blasted over a can of throttle body cleaner. Don't waste your time. Take it off and use brake cleaner. 20 Min job start to finish.
Upstream 02 sensor has a lead that preheats sensor and the Bocsh did not work for my truck, it threw a code and I tried 2 different sensors. Downstream Bosch was fine. OEM was the fix. Truck idles smooth as ever. Plenty of replies say the Bosch worked for them, not my truck.

Thanks for the update. Where do you live? Where did you buy the O2 and what was going the model number?

That seems to be the consensus, the Bosch work for after the cat, but suck ***** as a pre-cat sensor. I think a LOT of these posts about the Bosch plugs don't specify whether they are using them in the pre or post cat location.

And yeah, the only way to clean that TB is to take it off and give it a good cleaning.

Glad to hear you got your issues resolved...

I guess each vehicle reacts a bit different to the sensors.

Do Not use Bosch O2 sensors on ur 2003 Hemi!!! I replaced 2 of them thinking that the 1st one was bad! Well it wasnt!! My 2003 Ram with a Hemi did not like Bosch!! I wasted $200 one 2 O2 sensors instead of going straight to the dealer and getting a Mopar one. Bosch sensors maybe good sensors in other vehicles, but not in a 2003 Dodge Hemi!!! Get a Mopar part anytime you have to change any kind of sensor!!
