Default 6 inch lift screwed over???

Ok hello everybody. I recently bought a 6 inch pro comp lift kit for my 08 ram 1500 QC 4x4. Today i looked at my front shocks and coilovers. first of all the coil only goes halfway down the shock so i know that they are stock and it looks like they tried to rip me off by either putting my stock shocks back on or throwing a set that would fit on except they only have about 2 inches of absorbance on them. the rear set is white and new and looks like it fits and has plenty of absorbance but it does not have pro comp decals on them. i have checked over everything and nowhere on any of the parts does it say pro comp. Can anybody tell me the way it should be or if that is the way it is supposed to be( which im pretty sure its not) Thanks

Well I know on my FabTech lift the only place it says "FabTech" is on the front crossmember. The shocks are just white bodies.

It appears as if the procomp lift doesn't come with new front shocks, just rears. Here is what is supposed to come with it. http://www.procompusa.com/prodDetail...5491&plID=1808

Procomp, Monroe, Rancho shocks, etc are all white-bodied shocks that come with stickers that can be placed on the shocks. As stated before, the most likely place, if any, to see their logo would be the front crossmember.

One way or the other, if you're newly lifted,

although you could always contact the manufacture at (800) 776-0767 and ask to be sure and get a clear answer and then go back to the install shop

most 6" lifts utilize the factory struts unless you pay big $$$ for the upgraded kit. i put bilstien coilovers in with my lift. so no, you didn't get ripped off. you just didn't read the details
