Are you certain?

My 07 had independant cables twistlocked into the encl.. My 06 is on a bus type connector. I'd like newer taillights but this has been getting the better of me.

Physically it will fit but the wiring will have to be changed.

fitting 02-06 tail lights into a 07-8 is easy as long as you have the lights the backing that holds the bulbs and a bit of the wiring......

On the 07-08 ram u have 2 ground 1 reverse and 1 stop/signal for each side.
on the 02-06 u have 1 ground 1 signal 1 brake and 1 reverse for each side.

so when putting in the 02 into a 07 u attach the grounds to grounds, reverse to revers and the stop/turn to both the stop and turn signal wire coming off the 02 lights. You will then have the top two bulbs acting as signals and stops instead of the top being signal and midle being stop.... no biggie looks cool too.

Now installing the 07-08 into a 02-06 is fun as they only have 2 bulbs one for reverse and one for signal and brake, and your stock 02-06 wiring has 2 wires for signal/brake.
U have a few options like gitting a trailer brake converter which changes your 2 wire into a single wire setup. or just tap into your factory trailer wirirng. now if you actually tow with the truck i would suggest installing the trailer brake adapter to avoid blowing or causing any prob with your comp.....

Its really easy if you have any electrical know how. I put the 07-08 in my 06 and the work great...... one other thing grab the gromettes that hold the lights in as they are different aswell

They make the same design for the 02-06, just get those, they are a direct plug and play.
