hey guys i own a 02 ram 4.7l and today i had a guy that i work with that is a mechanic replace my ac compressor. had to remove the breather cover to get to it yada yada. anyways we got the new compresor put on and found out the o-rings i bought from autozone were wrong so he put the belt back on and i drove it 3 or 4 miles to the zone and then (o reillys is in the same shopping center.) with the breather cover off, halfway the check engine light came on and the truck was running rough and when i turned into the parking lot the truck stalled drove it back to his shop and finished charging the compressor, replace the breather. truck was still idleing rough check engine light still on. ran the codes at his shop and at autozone, and it says map sensor... did i do something when i drove it with the breather cover off will it reset new sensor is $75. i saw something on a another post about cleaning the sensor?? thanks for any help.

 

doubt you did anything wrong. just reset the pcm and see what you get. please post the dtc codes btw
