i just did my ball joints a week ago. i to bought the k7460 and the other k4110 or something. the upper ball joint is for a 1500 mega cab or the 2500's and 3500's. you will have to replace the whole control arm. if you have the upper ball joint already you can take it out of the box and compare it to the one in the upper control arm. the 7460 is huge compared the the one on the truck. i have an 08 1500 big horn 4x4 and am planning on doing a write up for it when i get the time.

 

Yea, that was my first mistake not comparing the new to the old until after I had pressed the new in. You would think moog would put a warning or disclaimer saying there joints won't fit a factory control arm so people would know to buy the control arm assembly first. Another way to fix the problem would be for Dodge to do away with the press in joints and go to bolt in ball joints, that would make everybody's life easier.
