When it get to the "H" and you shut it down... is there any coolant coming out??? Or just boiling up in the over flow?

You could also suck air in the coolant system via a crack and not necessarily leak oil in the water.

Just an update. Checked the oil, no visible coolant. Rechecking the thermostat now. Also, the radiator cap is fine. If this doesn't work, it's going to a shop. I'm out of options.

Just a thought...I was having a overheating problem too. Checked the normal stuff changed the thermostat still when at idle it would climb. Started to think it was the fan clutch(just cause its turning doesn't mean it's working right) anyway it's under warranty so i brought it to the stealership and bingo got me a new fan clutch.Just a couple pennies for what it's worth.
