According to the DOT # on the side wall they were built in th 49th week of 2005 so I'm willing to bet they were recalled. I don't know what Cooper is going to do about my damage as I just bought the truck amd the tires were on it so I don't have proof of purchase for the tires. However if they send me new tires I will sale them to you lol

Won't do me no good unless they are 35s, LOL... I really do need to think about a spare though, I'm still carrying the stock Wrangler POS under the bed, which I prolly just need to get the hell out of there cause it's just extra weight. 35" won't fit under there though and I use my bed too much (especially carrying my ATV around) for a bed carrier...

Thanks for all the advice Hammer! I went ahead and had my local tire shop order me the Nitto Terra's in th E rating tire 305/70/17. Got them for under $250 and should have them on the truck by tomorrow night. Will post some pics once they are bolted on. They came out to 34" so I figure it can't hurt to lose 1 inch. After all the mickeys where only 33's anyway.

Fingers crossed they look good!

I got a couple of teaser pics, my 265/70/17s on my Grand Cherokee and a former mod here who's truck I did most of the mods on with 33x12.5x17s. I think they are a good looking tire, as good as any true All Terrain out there:

Here are the pics.......

Ouch! x.x

Make sure you buy some 1/4 wheel spacers....they will rub the upper A arm if not.

I would tend to doubt it on a 2500...

Before with the 33X12.50x17 Dicks..............

And now AFTER with the 305/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. or 33.98/12.36/17 if that helps

Not sure if they look better or not as the truck is nasty and beat up right now but I feel safer. Seems to have a bit more play in the steering now but that may just be me. All things considered I believe they are gonna be a much better riding tire. Should look good once my babies all cleaned up as well. Oh and the new size in inches is actually bigger being 33.98X12.36X17 for anyone curious.

Thanks again for all the help!
