If you want good A/T tires or M/T look here for opinions of individuals that have driven with the actual tires your loking for.

I don't have those on my Ram but i have them on my 1946 CJ-2a, and i love 'em. I never lost traction on road, and they got my out off a lot off road. My friend jsut put some of these on this 00' Tacoma that is his Daily Driver and he loves them. When i purchased them from 4 wheel parts and the guy i talked to showed me his 85' 4-Runner he drove daily and the tires wear great. I guess it comes down to a matter of opinion. They do look awesome though.

They look awesome. Probably noisy on the road, but that goes comes with the territory I suppose.

I had them on my 96 Chevy they wore out in less then 5000 miles, they were loud, they didn’t handle good on road (were Great Off Road) I went Out and bought some BF Mud Terrains and they were about $300 cheaper for the set and they are very similar off road but they are good on road, and I have had them now for about 9000 miles and they have about 40% tread left. Or you can go with the Pro Comp X-Terrain which is very nice tires. Good Luck.

What kind of off raoding adventures are you looking at, terrain wise. Terrain always dictates the type of tire needed.

Really I'm just looking for a good all around tire thats good on road but also gives me better traction in the winter and during bad weather. I'm a firefighter and they don't like the "It's too bad for me to get into work excuse" if its snowing out. I have an '05 1500 QC 4x4 with the 20" inch rims. It looks like the Super Swampers wouldn't fit the stock rims, and although I realize keeping the stock rims limits my options, I'd really rather not change rims. So I guess my question is what options do I have while keeping the stock 20" rims? Someone in another post ( Another post ) mentioned the BFG All Terrain T/A's as a good choice with the 20" rims, but according to the BFG website they won't fit my truck. Anyway, good all around tire for the 20"? Suggestions?
