new here..fan control knob problem?
Hey guys,
I've got an '08 ram 1500 SLT which I have had very good luck with. It's a great truck!
Today I had the air conditioning running and I noticed that the round control **** for the fan was not working on the first 3 or 4 settings. In other words the low and medium settings do not work. The is no fan output. The last setting for high output does work! I checked my fuses and eveyrthing is okay there. Can it just be the round dial switch which is causing the problem or am I overlooking something?
Thanks for any help!

Sounds like a blower motor resistor. In my '04, it was in the passenger footwell attached to the blower, easily changed in the parts store parking lot to be sure that was the problem. Looking at about ~$50 bucks for a new one.
Here's a good video to show you how it's done.
