ok guys i need your help here i have a 2003 ram 1500 with the 4.7 ,45000 miles ,changed the plugs and was getting the p302 code so i changed the coil pack with a new one and reset the light to off,after a few days the light comes back on same code ,reset again same thing i have noticed after a cold start up i can feel a miss fire for about 30sec the trucks runs fine never another miss fire while driving milage is good 17.4 ,and never a miss fire afterthe truck is warm ???????????? any help would be great thanks

 

Well it's a misfire for sure, good thing is that it's confined to the 2nd cylinder. Order of troubleshooting would be plug, coil pack and then I'd look at the injector. Swap the injector with another cylinder and see if the problem stays or travels with the injector.

Past that, I'd be looking at a compression test on that cylinder...
