Can anyone share pictures of the hood scoops they added to their trucks?
I have read through all the forums and seen the pricing from as low as $100 to as high as $700 to add this.

Anyone in the Houston area, that can do this for relatively cheap, Love the Scoop look with the sport package.
It gives the Ram a BEEFY look.

if ur gonna get a hood scoop///get the srt-10 hood or another aftermarket brand that ACTUALLY HAS A FUNCTIONAL SCOOP!!!!

i dunno...but too me it looks like crap to have a separate piece of plastic bolted to the hood that is just for decoration. upon inspection...anyone can tell that the scoop doesnt integrate into the hood...just sits on top.


ive seen auctions for the srt-10 hood for as low as 650 painted or mostly 550-575 unpainted. or just purchase a keystone hood or something of the sort.

just my opinion though....but dont waste money on a cheesy decoration...get a new exhaust system or subwoofers or intake..i dunno.

 

If ian find another hood cheap,I'm going to have it louvered just like the one on My Pt Cruiser. The extra hood coast me $295.00 $200.00 to have the louveres cut into the hood and $200.00 for the Paint. Now on a Dodge Ram that would be tough looking and they work.

 

I bought my ram 1500 quad this weekend and financed the hood in with the truck, should be in this week, then to paint, will post pics when its on.
