Exhaust Out the Side or Out the Back
Sup fellas, new to the forum and just wanted to get an opinion.
Iam getting a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust soon and i wanted to know what would be better,
putting the exhaust dual out on the side in front of the passenger tire or putting it dual out the back.
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thnaks.

Its totally preference.
Dual out the rear is just added weight with only looks to offer.
Honestly...every Ram I see with exhaust has it out the rear...some split side.
I had a hard time deciding myself. However, about 4 times a year I tow an 18 foot trailer with snowmobiles/quads and or dirtbikes in it and the trailer is white....so I decided not to go out the rear because I didnt want the gases discoloring the trailer.
Then I finally found the Corsa system which comes out by the stock location but with twin 4" polished/rolled tips. I went with it....so far I have yet to see another Ram with my setup...some ppl i have seen have the billy boat twin on the side...but its obvious the Corsa system is much better quality than the billy boat.
I hate doing what everyone else has so I never really liked dual out the rear anyway. BTW...my Corsa system is easily twice as loud at full throttle than the dual out the rear setups.

Thanks for the comments guys, since it make difference in performance iam probably going to go for the dual out the side,
and its true a good number of people have the dual out the back. Thanks

Disadvantages of sides....
If in front of the rear tire the exhuast can actually had a bad effect on your rear rims.
If behind the rear tires all the crap from the road gets thrown up on your tips

If you put it in front of the rear tires your rims will look like the the ford rims did before they moved the exhaust behind the rear tire. They start to turn green from the heat. Thats the big down side!
Dam it, thats one point less for the side exhaust, but i have been thinking if the extra heat released by the exhaust would have any effect on the tire its self. Like causing the tire to over heat or is the heat not enough to make a difference, what do you guys think.
