I Have a 2002 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4.7L. It was manufactured in 2001. It is the newer body style. I am in the process of changing the rear brakes and am having trouble with the springs for the parking brake. The new kit's springs are longer than the old springs and the shoes are not seating properly. I have checked with both the part stores and dealers and they keep giving me the same parts. I have heard that this was an unusual year for this vehicle because of the release of the new body style. Has anyone else ran into this problem??? Please help.
