Default door alarm

i am trying to locate the seat belt alarm on my 2007 ram 1500. it is stuck in the "on" position. connecting seat belts does not stop it. it is driving me crazy. i can hardly drive my truck. it seems to be somewhere inside dash area around gauges, but i cant see it. thanks in advance.

Have you tried the little key/buckle trick to see if that does anything

you might try taking the wire connector off where it connects to the buckle and use a jumper to fool it thinking its always buckled.

Look in your manual. There is a trick to completely turn off the chime. I did it on mine. you have to turn the truck to the on position (but not started) click the seat belt 3 times and turn off key...all within 5 seconds or something like that. Check your manual.

i would think that if the seatbelt warning doesnt stop when his belts are buckled, the computer wouldnt reconigize the seatbelt clicks during programming
