05 Ram 1500 5.7 hard to start.
Hello everybody,
I have a 2005 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 On the first start of the day it starts just fine. After the engine reaches running temp and shut down, it is hard to restart. It does not shut itself off. After warmed up, when I try to start it will just crank forever, If I even touch the throttle it will fire right up. I don’t find this to be too big of an issue right now, but I have a feeling that if left alone it will get worse. So far I have checked all hoses and electrical connections under the hood. I have recently changed all the plugs and wires. (the problem existed before the plus were changed) New air filter, checked fuel pressure, it was at 60PSI. I am not the greatest when it comes to trouble shooting electrical issues, and would greatly appreciate any help that may be out there. Also I have no MIL or check engine light, whatever it is being referred to these days.

Update: I feel real stupid right now. I started to tear into the engine tonight after work just to see if I could find anything out of place. Come to find the #5 secondary sparkplug was loose. I guess that the funny angle that I was working with I didnt get it tight enough. So now it seems to run a hair better and starts up every time. Now everybody can bash on me and get a good laugh out of my stupidity. Thanks for the tips from those who gave them.
