Default trans cooler

good morning,

i have a 2005 dodge ram 2500 with the 5.9L in it and was getting ready to in stall a larger trans cooler in it. and was wondering if it was best to just use the new cooler or if i should use the stock one too. has any one done it either way and do you have pics? thank you for your help

I have the larger 26 row cooler in mine due to the torque converter and it dropped it nice and low, wont go over 170* in the summer when its 110+ out. Just use the larger one though, even if you could get both to connect and run right you dont want it to run too cool or it will start causing problems (one of the reasons why they got rid of the larger coolers on the 05's on up and switched to a smaller/thicker aluminum cooler for all the other HD coolers).
