Default Air Horn

Do you have an air horn on your Ram? Is it even possible to get one and install it?

I don't have one but it wouldn't be too hard to do it.
Pay a visit to a heavy truck junkyard and pick up a horn and an air tank. I'd mount the tank under the bed between the frame rails and the horn behind the grill or under the hood someplace.
Plumbing the lines would be the hardest part. You'll need a valve that you can operate in the cab, I'd go for an electric solenoid type valve that could be mounted near the horn, and turned on with a switch from the cab.
Also, unless you plan on installing a compressor, horn usage will be limited to the size of your air tank. Better plan on having a compressor at home or keep plenty of quarters in the console so you can refill at the gas station.

I mounted an air horn on my PT in front of the radiator and the compressor under the hood with the tank I used a electric button for the horn button.I also have the same kit for the Ram. The horns will be mounted inside the bumper. the rest just like the PT. The tank pumps up to 160 pounds of pressure. What a blast.

There are many air horns you can buy that are made to go on your truck. Some are expensive and others are not. Look on ebay to get some good ones for lower prices. At C.A.P. (Consumer Autoparts) and probably at many other auto parts stores, they have air horns. There is a set you can buy for $25.00 and is rated at 115 decibles!

I have the wolo big rig Challenger EV horns. Mounted a board under the frame rails just behind the bumper, painted the board black, mounted the air compressor and tank on top and the trumpets on the bottom.

Here is a pic.

I went the cheap route ($30), but they still are considerably louder than the factory horns. Mounted just behind the bumper.

$13.00 at Harbor Freight, They're cheap and 150 or so decibels. Connected with the stock horns, they are very loud and obnoxious.

Not hard to hook up, just follow the wiring diagram.

Which air horn kit would give me that deep, semi-truck sound, not the higher pitched train horn?

I've put several on other vehicles (the three or four trumpet kind with the small compressor) and I've always simply wired to the stock horn relay or wires so I can use the regular horn button--no additional relay needed.

btw, one can change the tone by changing the number of trumpets and/or length of the trumpets; no biggie. Experiment until you get the sound you like. I've lengthened trumpets with apprpriate diameter hose or tubing of various sorts. Added trumpets with "Y" connectors.

Beep, beep!

Here is a pic of a triple I added a lengthened fourth trumpet to. The little compressor is above the red trumps. The other "stuff" is intercooler and vacuum pumps/tanks, etc. Trumpets sized to my particular sound pref.
