Talking Replaced brake line fyi...

HI, I just replaced the rotted 3/16" steel brake line front/rear on my 02' ram. PIA. I didn't drop the tank, but fished the line over it. The biggest problem was the double flaring tool. Mine -- P boys purchase did not do a good job at all. The fittings leaked. I ended up getting a loaner tool, similar to mine, but the dies were slightly different and did a perfect job, first time. I used a copper/nickel alloy tubing from fedhillusa.com and it was nice to work with. I only used my tubing pliers from harbor freight to make any bends. I did 95% by hand. When I lost all of my fluid on the road, my abs & brake lights came on. After the repairs, I couldn't get the abs & brake light to go off; advance auto has a obdII/ABS code reader that reset the lights. My scanner is older and just does OBDII. Just in case anyone has similar problem; good luck.
