I am wondering what the difference is between the Jet Performance (90402) stage 1 and stage 2 modules.... The 90402 is the model that will fit my truck but i can find anywhere that tells me the difference between the two.

on some sites the stage 1 is cheaper and the stage 2 is more expensive.... and vise versa on other sites. any input would be greatly appreciated.

 

no one here is going to recommend anything from Jet to you. Guys here will all say Superchips for simple add on mods and Diablo for simple to big mods with lopey cams

 

Well I don't have 300 to 400 dollars for a super or diablo. Jet seemed to be the best option based on its reviews on reviews and prices. Guess I wont get one if they are that bad.

 

you can get both a used diablo u7137 or superchips 3865 for 200+

go there and do a search for both tuners

 

I can't vouch for current Jet modules, but we dyno'd a stage one about six years ago and it actually LOST a couple of horsepower. I probably know about 30 guys who run programmers and NOT ONE runs the Jet.
I'd pick up a used (and UNLOCKED) SC 3815 even before I'd put the money into a Jet or Hypertech...

BTW, when SC sent me a 3865, I sold my 3815 for $125. They are out there cheap enough if you look for them...
