Major coolant issue

Default Major coolant issue

3 years ago I replaced a radiator, 7k after that I had to do another it split at seam, then a 3rd 25k after that. I also replaced a wp, thermo, heater core, on this last one. I was told that if u usethe green coolant that it draws electrodes to high an can ruin the radiator system please advise I'm lost

Probably. The electrolysis caused by the coolant passing thru a cast iron block and aluminum heads/radiator and heater core causes acids to form in the coolant. The HOAT helps combat this.

bought my truck new in 04 and have 82k on it now. My first coolant flush and change was with Prestone green coolant and thats what is in there now and never any issues with the rad,pump or anything else. With my 180 stat and efan i stay right at about 188*

I replaced my 03 rad a ittle over 2 years ago on my Hemi.
The seam had split on those crappy plastic end sides.
New rad from Moes. Full flush of system....new hoses etc etc and I used the correct HOAT coolant at the correct rate with distilled water.
Begining of this year, another small weep appeared again!
Guess where....yep split at the CRAPPY plastic side tank.
This design of rad really SUCKS!!!!.
