so you think its prly a good idea to replace the lsd as well. i rather not spend all the money on having gears installed to have the lsd fail after...

Never been a big fan of the Mopar LSD, even without the "c-clip" issue. Most of the time just to get it to engage you either have to apply a little brake with the gas or set the e-brake slightly on with the gas.

If you have the funds, have either an Auburn or TruTrac installed when they do the gears, there is almost no extra work involved if they are in the housing anyway...

I agree that if you have the funds then you should upgrade the lsd the same time as doing your gears. That said i am still running the oem lsd @ 120k and have been through 3.55's,4.10's,4.88's

For new products, airram.com would be a good option.
http://airram.com/product.php?catego...&productid=170
Motive Gears for 9.25 = $199.99
DTT = $520
MIK = $94.99
$814.98 w/ free shipping

another 500 or so for an auburn or trutrac ill have to see about that. as far as the gears i would have the chrysler 8" up front and 9.25" rear? also i need the ring and pinion and master install kit for both front and rear and i should be all set?

DTT is the trutrac.
It would be an additional 245.60 to add in the 4.56 8.0" gears and MIK.
So total around 1,132.77 w/ free shipping. You may get lower than that if you look around. Just throwing airram out there as an option.
