Mopar greasable front U joints.
Has any one used Mopars greasable front u joints on the Ram 2500 front AMM drive axles?
Dodge dealer has advised Mopars. This as a replacemnet for the non servicable front U joints.

I haven't, but used to always use greasable u-joints. But, I also noticed that when you buy the stronger aftermarket ones, they are not greasable either. The cheap ones are.
The ones here that Autozone have for your front axle are heavy duty, non-greasable units. They run $15 each. They come :
factory-filled with synthetic lithium grease. Solid-forged cross body to increase joint strength for rigorous loads. Precision ground needle bearings for higher load carrying capacity. Nitrile rubber seal engineered to reduce seal surface friction. AlumiShield applied to bearing caps and hardware to prevent damage to aluminum driveshafts.
They should never need greasing anyway unless the seals have failed and then contaminants will be able to get into them and destroy the needle rollers anyway.
That being said, I would go with the Autozone units which also have a lifetime warranty.
You should be able to order them from www.autozone.com and have them shipped across the border if you don't have any of their stores up there.
