2003 Ram ABS Problems Please Help!!
My 2003 Dodge Ram 4x4 has a problem with the ABS. I pulled the truck out of the drive and the brake and abs light came on. As I drove down the road I heard a humming noise coming from under the hood. I stopped and turned the key off and the noise still continued. After I got home I found that the ABS pump behind the battery was on constantly with and without the ignition on. I looked for a relay and couldn't find anything but a fuse. I pulled the main connection off the pump and it quit, and the next day the speedometer quit working. Does anyone have any clue as to what the problem might be? I put a new wheel bearing in the right front about a month or so ago, could the abs sensor be bad causing the pump to run continuous? And does the speedometer have anything to do with it too? Please help if you can or have had the same problem!!!
I believe the internal contacts inside the abs pump can and does corrode.
I read a thread on here quite a while back, were a dude pulled it and dismantled and cleaned it all back up and it fixed his problem.
I believe he did isolate the fault to the pump though firstly.
Try it as I believe those pumps are very expensive.

Ok, here's another thing, the electric cooling fan runs continuous the speedometer quit working and the oil pressure gauge didn't work a few times when I started it. I pulled the codes and one of them was low voltage to oil sender or sensor and the other one was speed sensor, so could all this be related or did I just get all these different problems at once?
