Default 2wd to 4wd not touching selector switch

Any one out there please... I have a 2007 ram sport I bought this spring. It now has 57000klm on it. It tries to jump from 2wd to 4wd low at any speed I go with out touching the selector switch . Scares the sh.. out of me. any one out there with a similar problem. So far I have been told it could be the tipm or the front axle disconnect actuator. I have no dodge dealer within a 100 miles from here what Can I do to get it there?

i believe even if you switch to 4 lo it wont engage while you are moving it takes putting it in park to get to 4 lo and everything has to sync up gear wise so while you are moving i dont see it actually engaging 4wd

It has tried to engage for sure because I have felt it trying while on the hiway and at all speeds it town it starts to jump and jerk as I am moving along the 4whl lo lite is flashiing all the while.also it has gone into towing nuetral 3times when I have put it in reverse. I have had to reset it out on the street. Can I disconnect the shift actuator to drive it ? Or at least get it to a dealer and if so how?

Disconnect the front drive shaft and go slow or try cleaning the switch

I know with a floor shifter a missing detent spring would cause your problem, but I don't think this applies to the electronic shifter?

Default 2wd to 4wd without touching selector switch

My 2007 dodge ram goes from 2wd to 4wd low without being told to. It does it when the vehicle is driving at highway speed and when the vehicle is off sitting in my driveway. Does anyone know anything about this?
