Default Pics of 02-05 with t bars cranked

I hope this hasn't been covered too much. I did a search and couldn't find any picture threads. I'm hoping someone has some pics of their truck with T bars cranked. Please let me know if you have any other addition lift and what size tires. Thanks!

I think that pretty much settles it, for me. I've already got the 3" BL, and plan on cranking the torsion bars. I was just unsure about going with 35's over the 33's I've got on there, now. I'm keeping them on 17" wheels, though.

When I first got my truck (and when I was researching on the site) in '05, it was nice because all the info and pictures within pertained to my truck. Now it seems that a good 75% are '06+, with different suspension and technical specs. It's hard to search out stuff in any sort of a practical and timely manner a lot of times because I get plenty of hits for '06+ trucks, but it doesn't help me for my truck's needs (ie: shocks and suspension stuff). Oh well...

That truck is so sick. I found it on cardomain. It's got 35"s on 20" rockstars, 3" body and 2" T bar crank. My truck will look like that someday.

Put that thing on 17's instead of 20's, and I'm all for it! :P I'm just not a big fan of big wheels. Personal preference, I suppose. I like that it does not have fender flares. I love the smooth lines of the 3rd gen, as designed. I've got AMP powered steps on my truck, so they fold up underneath and out of sight, thus giving an even greater visual impact of lift.

Yeah... I'm pretty sure I'm going for it, now!

Gotcha... haha, that's funny. Everytime I see a ram on 17"s, I think.. step up to 20"s! I guess that's why we each all have our own truck

One thing I am realizing now though is I definitely will want to switch to a suspension eventually and lose the body lift. I just don't like seeing the frame all that much. It would look so much taller without the frame showing.

I just cranked my torsion bars up this past week on my 05 and it definitely improved the look. I've already gotten a few compliments. I'll see if I can find some pics to post up for you if you're still looking.

Heh, I went down from the stock 20" "daisies" to 17" wheels and 33" tires. Going to go up to 35" tires, next, I'm pretty sure. I'm going to wait on the suspension lift until I get back to the States in a few years.

FirstDodge: Would love to see some pics!

RideOn: Looks good, just needs more sidewall!

That's when you know if a guy uses his truck off-road or just to cruise the high schools to impress chickies.

20" wheels are useless off-road unless you have so much lift that you can go with like 38" tires. Just isn't enough sidewall flex in a 33-35" tire on 20" wheels and you can forget airing down if you needed to...
