new to this forum, but I have been using Mobil 1 synthetic oil in everything I own for the last 20 years. I have never had an engine go bad on me. I have had just about everything else go on me, but never anything related to the engine.

I see that most people are changing their oil in the 3-6K range. I change mine at much larger intervals and never have any problems.
